Combating ableism, one workplace at a time.
Looking back on our design work with Joshin, an inclusive support solution that helps companies truly understand employees’ unique needs.
Over the coming weeks, we’re taking a look back at some of our design projects from the past few years. This week we’re starting with Joshin: A B2B support solution that allows employers to access disability and neurodiverse resources. Trusted by employers such as Hearst, Dropbox, and Best Buy, Joshin offers everything from on-demand training and live coaching to personalized navigation for disability and neurodivergence in the workplace.
While our partnership with Joshin also included strategy work, our main focus was evolving their brand identity. We worked with their team to create a new website and mobile app that brought the refreshed brand to life—and created a flexible brand toolkit that set their team up for future success. And the future ended up coming sooner than thought: Our design work set the Joshin team up so well that they began using our work in realtime as the project was still underway.

Our work helped them win an employee innovation roundtable pitch competition, and in 2022 (the year after we partnered with them), they received an Honorable Mention in Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Awards.
